Tiger Town Tavern

Tiger Town Tavern began in 1977 as a pool hall / beer only tavern in the one story portion of the building that it still occupies today. In 1982, TTT expanded into the first floor of the two story portion of the building. The two story portion of the building that TTT occupies is the oldest still standing building in Clemson. In 1983, the second story portion of the building was incorporated into the company and became known as Top of the Tavern.

Tiger Town Tavern was established in beautiful downtown Clemson, SC in 1977 by four partners: J.C. Cook III, Bobby Cook, Lester Moore, and John Cartee. Over the years, the owners have changed, with the last original owner, J.C., retiring at the end of 2007. Throughout these years, Tiger Town Tavern has remained locally owned and operated with the current owners being Susan Farish, David (Super Dave) Thompson, and Cason Collins.
